100% Full Blood Wagyu Beef

What is Wagyu Beef?

Like many, you may be asking yourself "What is it?" And "Why do I want it?"  In the most simplest terms, it is tasty and good for you!  Now lets talk details and facts.  To start, Wagyu means "Japanese Cow".  Wagyu cattle have a lot of inter-marbling/intermuscular fat.  This fat is very unique.  How is Wagyu fat unique?  Without getting too technical, there is a gene that is in all cattle called "Delta-9-Desaturase".  In Wagyu cattle, Delta-9-Desaturase is highly prevalent.  This gene produces an enzyme that takes the fat molecule and converts it from Stearic Acid to Oleic Acid.  Stearic Acid is Saturated Fat (bad fat) and Oleic Acid is Unsaturated Fat (good fat), which is why Wagyu fat is unique.  Wagyu is also higher in a type of fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA).  Foods that are naturally high in CLA have fewer negative health effects.  This is one of the few times you will find something that tastes amazing and is good for you! 

Why does it taste so good?  Wagyu that is 100% full-blood Wagyu, like ours, has fat that will melt at a very low temperature. In fact, lower than our body temperature.  This means that when you put it in your mouth, it will literally melt in your mouth like butter.  Wagyu is so rich you will find you will not be able to eat a lot of it, but definitely wanting it again and again.

Our amazing burgers are now available to the public!

In the past our beef has only been made available to high end restaurants and a select few in our local area.  Due to the pandemic we now have an opportunity to offer our amazing 100% Full-Blood Wagyu Beef Burger Patties and two pound "chub" packages to everyone.  

We must warn you, once you have tasted our delicious 100% Full Blood Wagyu, you may not ever be able to eat another burger again!

Our Promise

We have been raising Full-blood and F1 Wagyu cattle for over 25 years.  We are currently a Full-Blood Wagyu cattle operation with exceptional genetics.

This is to verify and affirm that Gary Yamamoto Custom Beef, distributed with the packaging of Sugoi Wagyu Beef of Palestine, Texas uses no growth hormones or enhancements of any kind on any of it's cattle at any time during their lives.  Our animals never receive any feed that contains any animal products, by-products, litter, fish or fish oil.  Any cattle that are treated with antibiotics are removed from our Yamamoto/Sugoi Wagyu Beef program and sold elsewhere.  This is assured through our identification system and record keeping.
