Our Promise

We have been raising Full-blood and F1 Wagyu cattle for over 25 years.  We are currently a Full-Blood Wagyu cattle operation with EXCEPTIONAL genetics.

This is to verify and affirm that Gary Yamamoto Custom Beef, distributed with the packaging of Sugoi Wagyu Beef of Palestine, Texas uses no growth hormones or enhancements of any kind on any of it's cattle at any time during their lives.  Our animals never receive any feed that contains any animal products, by-products, litter, fish or fish oil.  Any cattle that are treated with antibiotics are removed from our Yamamoto/Sugoi Wagyu Beef program and sold elsewhere.  This is assured through our identification system and record keeping.

From birth these cattle run on coastal Bermuda grass pasture with their mother till weaning time.  At weaning they are supplemented with coastal Bermuda grass hay and grain till weaning time and then they graze cover crop which consist of wheat and oats.  At 14 months of age they are sent to feedlot in Kansas.  When our cattle arrive to the feedlot in Kansas they are separated from all other cattle and are in their own pen, never mingling with other cattle.  If an animal has to receive antibiotics this animal is segregated from the others.  

 

Our feed ration consist of: corn, protein supplement, corn oil, high moisture corn, ground hay, silage and modified distillers grain.

This ration has proved to really enhance marbling and weight gain.

Our goal is to produce and sell the highest quality wagyu beef for our customers.
